all the hand benders I have look at have been way to expensive, I have been trying to get one that will take 5mm beake line.

Not willing to spend $80 + dollars on them, been using a peice of solid bar clamped to bench.

Who says anything about paying $80 for a tube bender?
The Irwin one Jim mentioned is the one i use as well, it does 1/8" (3mm), 3/16"(4mm) and 1/4"(5mm) tube and is about 35-40 bucks.
Cheers Pricey.

The Irwin bender has done probably nearly 20 crawler builds and still looks and works great. Definately a winner for me.
