Lexan Body Repairs

Postby Clarky » Tue Nov 10, 2009 7:49 pm

Was told this one way to repair Lexan Bodies.
I used Zap Goo II, Gyprock tape, and because its body mount hole I put a another piece of Lexan to sandwich it together for reinforcement. Seems to be holding up ok.

Is that just on the back side?

And what is this Zap Goo stuff? Like Shoo Goo?

I layered it on the inside of the shell on the rear mounts, which are horizontal to chassis.
I'm not sure if its just a better versoin of shoo goo. I got it from local hobby shop. Used with the tape, its meant to retain its flexability and strength.
