Can some one tell me why I haven't been using Ally and these rods earlier. Where have I been. I think the Patrol build will be getting something a little different.

I have been thinking of making an ally cage for a while, but I am not real confident about welding ally that fine.

Nor was I Brett although now that I have seen that I guess I should at least give it a go. looks easier than braising.

Agree fully, I tried to make a cage buy drilling/tapping using grub screws, I managed to hide most of the grub screws but it still didn't look right

The ally rod is or was heaps cheaper than bundy tube or brake line
